White Basin vs. LUSH products

Now, I do admit I used to be a LUSH consumer, because they're "au naTURAL", but after my husband kept complaining that the LUSH soaps smell like urinal cakes; I started noticing that I was a little more Bohemian than usual/ ever. So when we went to Las Vegas for vacation, I came across White Basin inside the Venetian. It is similar to LUSH, but way nicer and the products smell much better.  The things I used to purchase at LUSH were:

Soap and Product List:
- Honey I Washed the Kids         - Cocomotion
- Rockstar                                          - The Godmother
- Sultana of Soap                              - Red Rooster
- Banana Moon                                - Wiccy Magic (Massage Bar)

So I do know the products pretty well. It's just they started to just smell not so great and over rated. I think because it is easy to access any LUSH store since there is one in most Macy's department stores where as there's ONLY 4 White Basin store locations in the world besides online at But very well worth it. just smelling their soap bars give me a nostalgic feeling. Here what I bought in White Basin in Las Vegas.

Urban Decay Naked Palette

More About this palette & What They Say About It At Sephora:

These neutrals won’t leave you naked. THIS is how Urban Decay does neutral: Far from boring, the Naked Palette includes 5 NEW shades (with names like Buck, Darkhorse, and Virgin) in addition to seven of the brand’s most addictive best-selling eyeshadows. This is a shadow palette that everyone will want, everyone can use, and everyone will buy. Experiment with office-appropriate neutrals, summertime bronzy looks, or sultry smokiness (achieve golden, brownie, or grey-hued shade combos). Plus, you get a mini genie bottle of Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I believe the original Naked Palette came with a duel ended brown and black 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. The Naked Palette that I have comes with an eyeshadow brush in its place.

 This set contains:
- 12 x 0.05 oz shadows in: Virgin (nude satin), Sin (champagne shimmer), Naked (buff matte), Sidecar (beige sparkle), Buck (brown matte), Half Baked (bronze), Smog (golden brown shimmer), Darkhorse (bronze-plum shimmer), Toasted (taupe-bronze), Hustle (mocha shimmer), Creep (near-black metallic), Gunmetal (dark grey metallic)
- Good Karma Eyeshadow Brush
- 0.13 oz Travel-size Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Currently, I noticed the Urban Decay Naked Palette is sold out at Sephora online and Urban Decay online. But more recently It is now sold at Ulta!

These swatches are from left to right as shown on the palette:
Virgin (nude satin), Sin (champagne shimmer), Naked (buff matte), Sidecar (beige sparkle), Buck (brown matte), Half Baked (bronze), Smog (golden brown shimmer), Darkhorse (bronze-plum shimmer), Toasted (taupe-bronze), Hustle (mocha shimmer), Creep (near-black metallic), Gunmetal (dark grey metallic).

Clear Care Kit- For My Circle Lensess

It is very important to care for your contact lenses. I personally used the Clear Care Kit, because since my circle lens are made in Korea I like to disinfect them for over 7 hours to overnight in their little nifty case.

You place each lens in its compartment, pour the solution up to the line, then drop it in and seal it, and watch it fizzle. DO NOT USE THE CLEAR CARE SOLUTION AS REGULAR CONTACT SOLUTION, BECAUSE IT IS HYDROGEN PEROXIDE!

Now you're probably wondering can you put your contacts on after 7 hours since it's been soaking in HYDROGEN PEROXIDE? The answer is YES. The case has a little opened hole on the top of it and after 7 hours; the HYDROGEN PEROXIDE becomes NORMAL SALINE because it is exposed to the air through the hole. Another nifty part of this kit is the RED CAP on the solution. It is so you don't get it confused with your regular solution. If you see what happens when you pour HYDROGEN PEROXIDE on an open wound, you definitly would not like that in your eyes. But overall I really like this kit. You can get some pretty good deals for this kit every now and then at Walgreens or CVS.

My new addiction.

I have become a great fan of circle lenses. Sure, the FDA says a bunch of horrible things about them, but what does the FDA really know? If you take a look at my profile pic I am wearing the GEO ANGEL SERIES in BROWN. I purchased this pair on the online store Pretty and Cute. The website is . They ocassionally sell circle lens for really cheap prices.

Circle lenses have become really popular in Japan because they make your eyes look bigger, especially for Asians. But more recently I became in love with the GEO BAMBI also known as PRINCESS MIMI SERIES by Tsubasa, she's a Popteen cover model that came out with her own line of circle lenses and many other beauty products. The picture of her is on the banner below. Her style is more towards the Himegyaru fashion, sort of like a modern Marie Antoinette. . As for The Bambi Series I do plan to collect all 4. They are all so awesome!

Circle lenses are created in South Korea. There's competition on a Japanese trend Himegyaru Vs. S. Korean trend Ulzzang on which looks better. Both require large circle lenses. I think they're pretty cool. I ordered a pair of the Bambi Almond colour ones on When I recieve them I will do a full review.

Nifty Arts and Crafts

So I have running my cosmetic caboodle ragged the compartments were breaking off so while I was shopping for a baby gate for my dog Pepito at Goodwill; I ran into a worn wooden mini drawer that I could convert to my new place to put my cosmetics in. The baby gate was $5.00 and the wooden mini drawer was $6.00. It really needed a makeover so I decided to make it into my new project for the week.

I used creme colored paint, titanium gold paint, a sponge brush, stencils and double sided tape.
